Our team of career and part-time firefighters and medics provide advanced life support and basic life support services, fire prevention, specialty rescue services, and public education. We operate four stations, an administration office, and a maintenance facility. Our crews respond to more than 2,500 calls each year, approximately 70 percent of which are for EMS. Part-time Firefighters
We hire twice annually for part-time firefighters.
Our part-time firefighters are assigned to support a shift and work either the first or second day of a 48/96 schedule. Part-timers support our 24/7 career firefighters and gain invaluable experience in technical and specialty rescue. Must be age 18 or older to apply. Part-time Firefighter requirements
- Firefighter 1 (including Hazmat Operations)
- Washington State EMT
- Washington State Driver’s License
- Current CPAT certificate
