We participate in public and community events throughout the year, from Touch-A-Truck in August, to our Santa Run in December. We also make safety and health information presentations to community groups as requested.

We often visit local elementary schools to talk about fire safety education. We can even bring Sparky the Fire Dog! We offer in-person and virtual visits.

National Night Out is coming to Camano Island this Augustthanks to Camano Island Fire & Rescue, the Mabana Flames, the CamanoPreparedness Group, and the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce.
Community members are invited to the Vista/Madrona andMabana stations from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2.
“National Night Out is a chance for our community to meettheir first responders and get to know their neighbors,” Chief Levon Yengoyansaid. “We think it’s important to bring our community together here on theisland, and what better way to do that than hosting National Night Out at ourfire stations.”
Each station will offer free hot dogs, fun kids’ activities,and a chance to see fire engines and ambulances. The Island County Sheriff'sOffice will have a deputy and patrol car at both fire stations; WashingtonState Parks will have a ranger and ranger vehicle at each station as well.
The first 25 children who visit the Vista and Mabanastations will also receive a free bicycle helmet courtesy of Safe KidsSnohomish County.
The Vista fire station is located at 273 N West CamanoDrive. The Mabana fire station is located at 3651 South Camano Drive.
Camano Fire plans to host National Night Out on the islandeach August.

Meetings take place the second and fourth Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held at the Fire Administration office, 811 N. Sunrise Blvd., Camano Island, unless otherwise noted.
