Firefighter candidates must have IFSAC Firefighter I Certification, including Hazardous Materials Operations, ICS 100 and 700 certifications, and Washington State EMT certification.
Paramedic candidates must have National Registry Paramedic certification, Washington State Paramedic certification, and be an ACLS provider and PALS provider (or equivalent) prior to employment. IFSAC Firefighter I Certification, including Hazardous Materials Operations, and ICS 100 and 700 certifications, are preferred at time of hire but not required.
