The Board of Fire Commissioners for Camano Fire recently approved a resolution to place an EMS levy renewal measure on the on the Aug. 5, 2025, primary election ballot. If approved by voters, the levy renewal would fund additional EMS personnel to improve response times and new, lifesaving medical equipment like an automated CPR device and new cardiac monitor/defibrillator.
Camano Fire is accepting names of people interested in participating on a pro or con committee to provide a voter pamphlet statement. Residents interested in participating should contact 360-387-1512 or info@camanofire.com no later than 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
