Don’t miss your chance to work on Camano Island. We’re hiring for full-time lateral firefighters and firefighter/paramedics. Lateral applicants must have one year of full-time experience as a firefighter or firefighter/paramedic. Submit your cover letter and application by 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.
We’re also establishing an eligibility list for experienced firefighters or firefighter paramedics who have one year of experience or less, and for entry-level candidates with no fire experience. Top candidates from the application process will be invited to an oral board interview and placed on an eligibility list. Paramedics must complete an assessment process. The district may choose to hire from the eligibility list for up to one year.
Experienced and entry-level candidates must apply through the National Testing Network and submit all application materials by 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17.
