Vaccine clinic transitioning to second-dose appointments March 15 – April 2

March 15, 2021

Our COVID vaccine clinic will transition to second-dose appointments only for the next three weeks, from March 15 through April 2.

During that time, we’ll give second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to all those who received their first dose with us. Because the second dose is due approximately three weeks after the first, we’ve set aside this three-week period to give those vaccinations.

We provided more than 3,900 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine to local residents during the past three weeks.

We plan to resume new first-dose appointments at the clinic in April, once we receive a first-dose vaccine shipment from the state.

You can find local vaccine locations on the Island County Public Health website www.islandcountywa.gov/Health/Pages/Covid-Vaccine or by visiting the state Department of Health vaccine finder page: www.doh.wa.gov/YouandYourFamily/Immunization/VaccineLocations
