Coloring contest winners to get Camano Fire T-shirt, station tour

Camano Island kids ages three through 11 are invited to show off their creativity in Camano Island Fire & Rescue’s fire safety coloring contest.

Young artists can choose from one of four safety graphics:

Participants can download and color the graphics at home or color them at the Safety & Preparedness Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Camano Commons.

Completed entries must be received no later than 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12.

Entries can be scanned and emailed to, mailed, or dropped off in person at the Admin Building, 811 N. Sunrise Blvd. Please include contact information so we can contact you if you win.

Winners will be selected in three age categories: 3-5, 6-8, and 9-11. The winners will receive a Camano Fire T-shirt, a special photo op, and a personal fire station tour for themselves and their families.

The three fire chiefs and the Board of Commissioners will judge the entries. Final judging will take place at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, during the Board of Commissioners meeting. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Camano Fire staff will contact winners to coordinate a date and time for the fire station tour and T-shirt presentation.


How do I get a graphic for my child to color?

  •  Download one of the graphics by clicking on the links above and print
  • Come by the Admin Building and pick up a printed copy (811 N. Sunrise Blvd)
  • Come to the Safety & Preparedness Fair and pick up a printed copy (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat. Sept. 10 at Camano Commons)

How do I submit my child’s entry?

When is my child’s entry due?
All entries are due by 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12. Entries received after 4 p.m. will not be eligible for judging

We will announce the winners – one in each of the three age categories – on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
