Once election results are certified on Feb. 19, it’ll be official: Our EMS Levy renewal passed.
Thank you. We can’t say enough about your continued support. We know 2020 was a tough year – with personal health and financial challenges many of us never imagined we’d face.
Asking you to renew this levy – when we’re all still dealing with uncertainty about the pandemic, vaccines and our own personal and financial health – wasn’t easy. But it was necessary. Levy funds directly support the EMTs and Paramedics who respond to your calls, and allow us to maintain our current level of service.
Response to medical emergencies makes up more than 70% of our average annual call volume, and 2020 was no exception. In fact, we saw even more EMS calls last year than in 2019 – many of which were COVID-related.
We stand by what it says on our vehicles: Neighbors helping neighbors. Thank you for helping us help others.
